“The anticyclone will retreat towards the British Isles, letting fairly cold air infiltrate central Europe, forming a depression, synonymous with unstable weather,” explains our colleagues from La Chaîne Météo.

However, certain territories should suffer more than others from this new drastic drop in temperatures.

According to Météo-France forecasts, the regions of Grand-Est and Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes will be particularly affected in the coming days, where the minimums will approach the symbolic bar of 0°C for the day of Tuesday 12 November in particular.

It will be 3°C near Lalley, in Isère, 4°C in , in Haute-, or even 6°C near , in Cantal.

In Ile-de-France, for the same day, temperatures will not exceed 10°C. The west of the country will also suffer from a significant temperature deficit: 6° C is expected near , 7° C in . In New Aquitaine, it will be 4°C in for Thursday.

The departments around the Mediterranean will be the most spared by this disruption.

Note that temperatures should gradually rise from Friday in France. The weather will be “fairly generous” over the northern half for the end of the week,” explains Météo-France.
