After a week of calm, the sun should give way to less mild precipitation. These will be accompanied by a drop in temperatures expected from this Tuesday. Some territories will be more affected than others.
Get covered! For several days, clouds and fog have prevailed over France. But the latter should disappear from this mid-week in favor of winter temperatures. The cause: the arrival of a cold drop phenomenon.
“The anticyclone will retreat towards the British Isles, letting fairly cold air infiltrate central Europe, forming a depression, synonymous with unstable weather,” explains our colleagues from La Chaîne Météo.
However, certain territories should suffer more than others from this new drastic drop in temperatures.
a mercury close to zero
According to Météo-France forecasts, the regions of Grand-Est and Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes will be particularly affected in the coming days, where the minimums will approach the symbolic bar of 0°C for the day of Tuesday 12 November in particular.
It will be 3°C near Lalley, in Isère, 4°C in Chaumont, in Haute-Marne, or even 6°C near Aurillac, in Cantal.
In Ile-de-France, for the same day, temperatures will not exceed 10°C. The west of the country will also suffer from a significant temperature deficit: 6° C is expected near Rennes, 7° C in Nantes. In New Aquitaine, it will be 4°C in Limoges for Thursday.
The departments around the Mediterranean will be the most spared by this disruption.
Note that temperatures should gradually rise from Friday in France. The weather will be “fairly generous” over the northern half for the end of the week,” explains Météo-France.
