19:15 – There is just over an hour left until the start of the ATP Finals campaign in Turin of the world number one Jannik Sinner (23), who will face the Australian Alex De Minaur (25).
The Italian is expected to win in front of his home crowd, also because he has won seven of the seven previous matches played against the Australian, whose only “defeat” came when he retired before the start of their clash in Paris last year.
15:40 – Fritz won the match against Medvedev by beating the Russian with a score of 6-4 6-3. The American’s break in the sixth game was decisive in the second set.

13:40 – There are only 20 minutes left until the first match of this year’s ATP Finals, and it will be played by Daniil Medvedev (28) and Taylor Fritz (27).
Somewhat surprisingly, the two have already met once: the Russian beat the American in sets heading to the Cincinnati Open in 2022. Fritz will have a good chance of avenging that defeat, having probably had the better season than his opponent.

Purcell and Thompson defeated Dutchman Wesley Koolhof and Croatian Nikola Mektic in straight sets. The final score was 7-6 (1), 6-3. In the afternoon, for the same group, Granollers/Zeballos and Heliovaara/Patten will compete.
