At Sporting’s pre-game press conference against Braga, Ruben confessed that it was strange to leave the Sporting Academy gate for the last time. “It was a strange feeling because I’m not going back”starts by confessing. Nostalgic, he reveals that he wasn’t even able to tidy up the office where he has all his things, something he will delegate to someone he trusts. “I haven’t packed the office but they’ll send me things, I’m not much of one to say goodbye to people. It’s strange having driven to the gym every day for over four years and knowing I’m not going back. But I leave with the feeling of duty fulfilled, we experienced unforgettable things.”
