St. Pauli is now hoping for a really big coup against Bayern, like in February 2002, when they beat the then World Cup winners 2-1 at the Millerntor and the term “World Cup winner-defeater” became a new trademark.
This time too, a possible home win against Munich would have historic proportions, as it would be St. Pauli's first success in the Bundesliga at Millerntor since being promoted again. St. Pauli celebrated both of their previous wins this season away from home.
