SC – : Leautey as a savior, clumsy Mafouta

So often carried at arm's length by Louis Mafouta since the start of the season, SC this time had to rely on Antoine Leautey to make people forget the penalty missed by their top scorer and thus saved the draw against (1-1)this Friday. From 3 to 7, discover our ratings after this match counting for the 13th day of Ligue 2.

The satisfactions

Without its fourth goal of the season, Amiens would have experienced its first defeat at home. Left on the edge of offside, Antoine Leautey (6.5) first made good control before maintaining the necessary lucidity to defeat the very solid Yan Marillat with a dry strike towards the top corner. Beyond his goal, the former Niortais player was undoubtedly the most active player from Amiens, notably being at the origin of his team's best chance in the first period (17'). And while the Amiens struggled to appear dangerous after returning from the locker room, it was again he who sounded the revolt and maintained the (vain) hope of a victory.

In the absence of a playmaker taking charge, Kylian Kaiboue (6.5) decided to take on the role by being in the oven and the mill. Not afraid to make contact, the left-hander played a significant number of duels (21) emerging mostly victorious from them (14). If he was not always technically correct (24 ball losses, 78% successful passes), it is because he was one of the only ones to take real risks when passing, thus irreparably setting back the opposing block (22 deep passes). A crucial activity in this type of match.

The disappointments

For the second consecutive week, Rémy Vita (3) conceded a penalty, which almost proved fatal to his team. In , he was caught by Ugo Raghouber's dribble. This time, he lacked vigilance when attempting an acrobatic clearance in his own penalty area. Enough to allow the Martégaux to open the score and further complicate the task of the Amiens, already quite uninspired. Offensively, he did not hesitate to project himself forward, but with little success.

After converting his four penalties so far, Louis Mafouta (3) ended up being defeated. The fault lies with a penalty which, without being taken badly, is placed in the right area to allow the save of Yan Marillat, who started on the right side. Before that, the Central African had made a surprising choice after a cross from Antoine Leautey, preferring to put the ball back and on his left foot rather than strike with first intention. Always so generous in his movements, he ultimately did little to destabilize a Provençal rearguard which was nevertheless on a tightrope.

First offensive element to give way, Rayan Lutin (3) still had a lot of trouble existing between the lines. However, he was the first to try his luck, from the 5th minute of play. Shortly before his exit, he was involved in the good three-way move which could have allowed Louis Mafouta to equalize, if the latter was not in an offside position. Between the two? Not much. Except for an average of one ball lost in three and a majority of duels lost (2/9).
