The intense rains that fell early this Friday in the area of Cap de Creus (Girona) have caused the sudden flooding of the stream that runs through the town of Cadaqués and the water has swept away 35 vehicles that were parked there, a channel usually dry. During midday this Friday, a large crane hired by the City Council has been removing the vehicles wedged under the bridge; The last ones will be removed by the municipal crane. According to Serinyana, “they have been transferred to the municipal deposit and each individual must be responsible for withdrawing it with their insurer.” The majority of those affected are residents of Cadaqués or workers, but also some tourists with rental cars.
