Fueling a 17-1 run late in the third quarter for the Milwaukee Bucks to regain control, Giannis Antetokounmpo pushed the Milwaukee Bucks to a win, 123-100, over the Utah Jazz in Fiserv Forum.

After missing one game with a right adductor strain, the Greek Freak bounced back with 31 points, including the first 15 in the game-changing sprint. Grabbing 16 rebounds to shape yet another double-double, he became the NBA player with the most 30-point double-doubles in 30 minutes of action or less.

Lasting 30 minutes on Thursday, Antetokounmpo made 11/21 from the field, dished out two assists, blocked one shot, and registered one steal.

After avoiding their first seven-game losing streak since March 2014, the Bucks improved to 2-6 in the 2024-25 NBA Regular Season.

“It feels good. It feels great,” Giannis reacted to his side snapping the losing streak, “I think we all are going to try to remember how it feels when you lose. We do not want to go back there.”

The team coached by Doc Rivers will travel to complete a back-to-back, taking on the New York Knicks in Madison Square Garden on Friday.

The Jazz were forced down to a league-low 1-7. Recovering from low back spasms and missing the three previous games, Finnish Lauri Markkanen recorded eight points with 3/10 field goals, seven rebounds, four assists, and two steals over 28 minutes.

Limited to one 15-minute showing this season, Ukrainian teammate Sviatoslav Mykhailiuk stayed on the bench once more.
