The more you are known, the higher the risk of burglary. Inoxtag is a young 22-year-old videographer and influencer who has been publishing videos on the internet since middle school. 8.69 million people follow him on YouTube, 5.9 million on Instagram, 6.3 million on TikTok… and his documentary recounting his ascent of Everest has 37 million views, not counting cinema admissions. A real internet star therefore, which attracted the most malicious, in search of a generous jackpot.
The famous content creator owns a house, in which he does not live, in Poissy (Yvelines) and it was broken into on Wednesday November 6, reports BFMTV. The damage is estimated at 10,000 euros in computer equipment. It must be said that Inoxtag is known for its blockbusters, which require being equipped with high-performance, and therefore particularly expensive, equipment. For example, the cameras used by the biggest YouTubers can cost up to 8,000 euros.
An investigation is open
An investigation was opened by the Versailles public prosecutor's office for burglary into a home. Inoxtag is one of a long list of public figures who have been robbed in recent years. We can notably cite the international star Kim Kardashian, who had her engagement ring and other jewelry stolen during a stay in a Parisian hotel in 2016. The damage was estimated at 9 million euros, including 4 million for the ring.
