Mavs Bets: How to wager Bulls vs Mavs

The Mavs welcome the Chicago Bulls to the AAC on Wednesday night. Rebounding from a loss to the Pacers will be made more difficult by injuries and uncertainty on the front line. PJ Washington is out and Dereck Lively II is slated as a game-time decision. Can Dallas find a way to beat yet another frantically paced Eastern Conference team shorthanded?

  • Mavs ML: -520

Odds up to date as of 3:30 AM CST from DraftKings

This is a game the Mavericks should win – it would be a near certainty if the team fully healthy. Given the pace Chicago prefers and the missing pieces for Dallas, I have a lean on Chicago +10 – but recommend focusing instead on player props.

Player Props

  • Klay Thompson over 17 points (-115)
  • Coby White over 4 3PM (-105)

I expect a ton of threes from both teams in this one. Klay had 16 in the game against Indiana despite a very slow first half. The ball denial from opponents has been intense versus Thompson after his first three games. Expect Dallas to find a way to get his attempts up early on.

White either lights up the scoreboard or lays an egg from deep so far this year. Count on the former happening in this one.

Play of the Day

  • Luka Doncic over 50 PRA (points/rebounds/assists) (-120)

Assuming Lively is out, a limited front line for Dallas behind starter Daniel Gafford means more Dwight Powell minutes. Without Washington to play the five in small lineups this could be a wildly high-scoring game. This requires the Dallas offense to have a great night and the required ingredient for that is a high-tier Luka game.
