LUBBOCK, Texas (KCBD) – Jodey Arrington was re-elected on Tuesday as representative for the 19th Congressional District of Texas.
Arrington first won the seat in 2016. Here is a statement from Arrington keeping his seat:
“Serving you and fighting for our West Texas values has been the honor of a lifetime,” said Chairman Arrington. “Thank you for your prayers and support over the years – we feel them every day! God has done ‘exceedingly and abundantly more than I could ask or imagine’ by entrusting me with this sacred calling. I can tell you with 100% conviction that this is exactly where He wants me to be…and His grace has been more than sufficient every step of the way. In spite of my many shortcomings, God has continued to grant us success, year-in and year-out. I look forward to continuing our fight to secure the border, rein in Washington’s reckless spending, and return power back to ‘We The People.’ I am honored to have once again earned the trust of my fellow West Texans to represent them in Washington. West Texans want and deserve policies that promote our freedoms, protect our citizens, and ensure that power rightfully remains in the hands of the American people—not Washington. Thank you for the privilege of being your voice in our nation’s capital, God bless and Go West Texas!”
