A controller from M Réso, the public transport network in the Grenoble conurbation, was threatened by a gun this Tuesday, November 5 early in the morning, near the Bayard stop, in the town of Echirolles (Isère).
Around 7 a.m. on line 16, a controller was in the process of fining a user when he was threatened by a man outside the vehicle. The latter, arriving on a bicycle, pointed his weapon in the direction of the controller, indicates a union source confirming initial information from France Bleu Isère.
The controller then warned the driver, who left the scene. According to the police, no physical description of the author of the threats, who fled after the events, has yet been made. A complaint will be filed, according to this same union source.
This Tuesday, November 5, the network controllers exercised their right of withdrawal. Lines 16 and C7 have been diverted to avoid the sector concerned. Line 16 does not serve the stops Gendarmerie, Auguste Ferrier, Bayard, Colonel Manhès, Danielle Casanova and Vassieux. As for line C7 buses, they do not stop at the Bayard and Colonel Manhès stops.
