It’s not just Pietro Lombardi who should lose his place on DSDS. Apparently RTL will no longer see his jury colleague Loredana at the casting show in the future.
While the current season of “Deutschland sucht den Superstar” is heading straight towards the finale, production is apparently already thinking about the future of the show. As the “Bild” newspaper recently reported, juror Pietro Lombardi will no longer be there next year. Instead, RTL should negotiate with rapper Bushido. The decision has not yet been confirmed by the broadcaster.
And not only Pietro Lombardi will have to look for new jobs soon, his current jury colleague Loredana will also have to vacate her place. “Bild” also wants to know that. Accordingly, RTL is currently in discussions with Ballermann star Mia Julia to replace the rapper in 2025.
37-year-old Mia Julia started her career as a porn actress. She then made the leap into the music industry and now performs regularly at Ballermann in Mallorca. Her participation in DSDS has not yet been confirmed. She simply posted a screenshot of the report on Instagram and asked her fans: “Would you support me in this?”
In the current season, Loredana and Pietro Lombardi are joined by producer Dieter Bohlen and singer Beatrice Egli at the jury panel. The final will take place on November 9th. A few weeks ago the broadcast was overshadowed by headlines. There was a police operation at Pietro Lombardi’s house and an argument escalated between him and his fiancée Laura Maria Rypa.
There were then allegations of violence, which both have since denied. RTL followed the developments surrounding the case and wanted to use this to decide on the singer’s future on DSDS, as a spokesman explained to t-online at the time. It is unclear whether the incident could cost Pietro Lombardi his place on the jury next year.
