Erling Braut Haaland is interested in Real Madrid, Spanish media report. The Madrilenians are prepared to pay no less than two hundred million euros to acquire the Manchester City striker. The English top club is still in doubt about the mega offer.
On the one hand, City obviously does not want to lose their star player, but there are reasons why the offer is still tempting. Haaland has already expressed his desire to take on a new challenge. The large amount that can be collected for the attacker, who has a contract until mid-2027, is also given as a reason to sell. The 24-year-old Norwegian represents an Estimated Transfer Value (ETV) of 155.8 million euros.
Haaland has become an absolute world star at Manchester City since his transfer in the summer of 2022. The 37-time international (34 goals) appeared in a total of 112 matches the Citizensin which he scored 104 times and provided 14 assists. In his debut season he scored 36 times in the Premier League, making Haaland the record holder for the most goals in a season in England’s top division.
With a transfer of two hundred million euros, Haaland would be on the books of both Manchester City and Real Madrid. The current transfer record of the Madrilenians is in the name of Eden Hazard, who came from Chelsea in the summer of 2019 for more than 120 million euros. City’s biggest outgoing transfer was completed last summer, when Julián Álvarez moved to Atlético Madrid for 75 million euros.
