Can we combine work and personal life when we live apart? If this is the case, Nicolas Demorand does not hold the key, despite his 24 years of experience as a morning journalist. Questioned by the daily West France, the co-host of Léa Salamé on the morning radio show France Inter spoke about his particular rhythm of life in an article published this Sunday, November 3. For seven years, he has been in charge of 7/10 on France's premier radio station, Monday to Friday. A prestigious position, but which requires certain sacrifices.
“Zero social life” for the one who lost his brother, Sébastien Demorand. “It’s not possible to be a morning person and go out in the evening…”, explains Nicolas who describes his pace of life as “a wheel that never stops”. West France reveals that the 53-year-old father has a well-rounded daily life. He returns home after his three hours on air and tries to rest before preparing for the morning show the next day. “With Léa, we begin to write the process via a shared document. Around 8 p.m., a first version is completed… and I go to bed”he reveals, before revealing that he gets up at 3 a.m.
