The body of a 54-year-old woman was found on the morning of Sunday November 3 in the Seine near Louveciennes (), Bleu learned from the prosecutor's office. Her ex-partner, aged 53, is the main suspect.

The victim was at her ex-partner's house on Saturday evening. The latter called one of his friends in the evening, admitting to having “do something stupid”. It was this friend who then contacted the police. The police then went to the scene and arrested the suspect.

In police custody, the man admitted to having hit his ex-partner, but assured that she fell into the Seine. An investigation has been opened for intentional homicide. She must determine the circumstances of this homicide, in order to understand whether the victim died from drowning or as a result of the beatings. The suspect must be presented Monday, November 4 to an investigating judge.
