Tom Holland Confesses He Sometimes Googles Zendaya. “It’s a Bit of an Anxiety Thing”

Tom Holland might be an award-winning actor, businessman, and Marvel superhero, but it seems that he prioritizes being Zendaya’s boyfriend first.

In a recent interview with the On The Menu podcast hosted by Samah Dada, Holland spent most of the interview discussing his new non-alcoholic beer brand, Bero, before an innocuous question led him to talk about Zendaya. As a fun finisher question, Dada asked Holland what the last thing he Googled was, and surprisingly but not-so-surprisingly, he said “The last thing I Googled was actually Zendaya.”

“That’s kind of iconic,” Dada responded.

Holland then elaborated on why he was Googling her — and it wasn’t just to stare at photos of her, although we can’t be sure of that one.

“I’m not on socials, and I delete it when I’m not using it,” Holland said. “So sometimes — it’s more of a bit of an anxiety thing — but I’ll check to see that everything’s good and just make sure we’re all cool.”

He continued: “So I just give it a little Google, look through the news, I’m like, ‘she’s good.'”

The two actors have shown each other support in many ways since their romance began, including Zendaya attending a celebration for Holland’s new beer brand at a restaurant in Manhattan’s Lower East Side neighborhood last month. Holland and Zendaya looked the part of an adorable, fashionable couple, both wearing burgundy and walking hand-in-hand. Holland has shown his love for Zendaya back — with funny social media posts, promoting her new projects, and naming a beer after her beloved dog Noon.

Tom Holland and Zendaya also confirmed recently that they are both returning to where it all began — on the set of Spider-Man. The fourth installment of the Holland-led franchise is set to return to theaters in 2026 with both Holland and Zendaya returning to their characters.
