The Caliph General of Thiénaba, Serigne Assane Seck asked his disciples to vote for the head of the national list of And Bessal Senegaal, Abdoulaye Sylla. The latter was warmly welcomed by the religious guide and the town of Mame Amary Ndack Seck. The religious guide called to vote for Abdoulaye Sylla. “I ask the disciples to support you wholeheartedly. Be reassured of our support, our accompaniment.”

The captain of industry took the opportunity to reiterate his attachment to this religious city.

“Nothing could have predicted a career in politics for me. Given my ancestry, I was more predestined to become an imam or Koranic master. God, however, blessed me with caring parents. Mine was ultimately to work hard to better invest in the religious sector without calculating. I am listening to Thiénaba, willing to make my contribution to all his projects,” declared Abdoulaye Sylla.

His involvement in politics has links to his projects supporting religion and religious leaders. “If I am in politics, it is to be able to defend religion and religious leaders and fight so that the insults thrown at them finally stop,” defended Abdoulaye Sylla.

For his part, the Caliph General, Serigne Assane Seck thanked the leader of And Bessal Senegaal for his attachment to his person and everything he does for Islam. “Know that everything you wish to have in this city will not escape you,” the Caliph reassures his host before adding: “the Daaras, in general, do not have everything they need. This is sometimes the case with us and for this reason, we need generous people like you,” he says.
