The Zurich Children’s Hospital in Lengg has been open since today. In the morning, the inpatients are moved from the old to the new location.

The new Zurich children’s hospital began operations on Saturday. At 7:59 a.m. sharp, the old emergency station at the Hottingen location closed its doors. A minute later, the emergency department opened at the new Lengg location.
All inpatients are currently being transferred from the old to the new children’s hospital. Numerous ambulance vehicles are in use for this purpose. For those responsible, the “Züglete” is a mammoth task, as they told the media.
