The singer of My love has been the target since Tuesday of a complaint for “sexual harassment” against one of its former technicians. Nominated for the “NRJ Music Awards”, he wanted to be present this Friday, November 1st in Cannes.
In turmoil since Tuesday October 29, Slimane revealed in the musical telecrochet “The Voice” was nominated in the “French-speaking song of the year” category but also “French-speaking artist of the year” at the “NRJ Music Awards”. And if his presence at the Cannes ceremony remained uncertain until the last minute, the one who represented France at the Eurovision contest the previous year insisted on honoring his promise.
As a reminder, he has been the subject of a complaint for sexual harassment since the beginning of the week. The facts date back to the night of December 17 to 18, after a concert at the Zénith in Saint-Étienne and concerned one of the show’s technicians. This complaint emanates, as the Saint-Étienne prosecutor clarified, from a “lawyer representing an entertainment technician who declares having been the victim of sexual harassment by the singer Slimane, in December 2023”.

Slimane, competing for the French-speaking song of the year, like his opponents had to perform the song in question. Here it was about My love.
