The Toulouse striker, absent from the field since the 2022 World Cup due to injuries and a drop in form, is back in action thanks to his recent performances in Ligue 1. Author of a double in Toulouse’s victory against in Montpellier, Aboukhlal seems to have found form and could bring a breath of fresh air to the Moroccan attack.
Other good news for Atlas Lions supporters: the return of Salaheddine Chihab. The Maghreb goalkeeper from Fez, author of notable performances in the championship, including a decisive penalty save against Difaâ Hassani from El Jadida, joins the group as third goalkeeper, behind Yassine Bounou and Munir El Mohamedi.
