Listeners to “On marche sur le tête” reacted to the tense exchange which took place Tuesday evening between Eric Ciotti and Patrick Cohen regarding the SNCF's refusal to see posters promoting Jordan Bardella's new book in the stations. Listen to the extract again. You can respond at 01.80.20.39.21.
These are posters that we will not see in stations “in the name of neutrality”, but which still cause a lot of talk. Tuesday evening on France 5, Eric Ciotti and Patrick Cohen argued live about the SNCF's refusal to see posters promoting Jordan Bardella's new book in stations, after an outcry from certain railway unions. Beyond the arguments of the two parties, it was above all the comments of Patrick Cohen towards Eric Ciotti which made the listeners of“We walk on our heads.
During the exchange, the journalist showed signs of annoyance with the Nice MP, throwing out phrases like “do you understand French?” or “And if my grandmother rode a bike, she would cycle to the stations.” An attitude which shows a “lack of respect” for Lionel, the listener. “If I had been Ciotti, I would have left. The way he was spoken to was intolerable!” An opinion also shared by François, also a listener, who for his part points out a “very significant and very edifying” exchange of what the “Parisian small bourgeoisie above ground” is. “A little bobo Parisian micro-culture, quite uneducated which recites a politically correct catechism”, according to him. He also deplores “social contempt”.
