Badly embarked on this meeting against their Strasbourg counterparts, the hopes of SLUC Nancy also had to cope without Fodzo-Dada, in civilian clothes on the bench. So, despite a 3-9 at 5e minute, Pierre Verdière’s players suffered a heavy 9-0 which would put them in difficulty throughout (12-9, 7th).
At half-time, they were already at 43-27 and ten minutes from time, despite a good effort to come back a few steps, the Nancy players suffered from the pragmatism of Moupadele in particular. The Strasbourg player got a throw behind his ”three points” and scored the first four in the last quarter (67-46, 31st). Fevry, with free throws, unlocked the counter in the 33rd (71-48), but the damage had been done a long time ago. Moupadele, again, stopped the Lorraine runaway with a long-distance shot, Zenon came out for five fouls and the hopes of the SIG won 96-52 thanks to a fiery last quarter 96-52.
