Gérard Lanvin, although not part of the Splendid troupe, shared, forty years ago, the poster for Blanc’s first film, Walk in the shade. “You had a bond that is a pleasure to see”underlined Babeth Lemoine before launching an extract from the show “Champs-Élysées”. “With all the friends from that time we were very close to each other because we played, we replaced each other in our shows”explained Gérard Lanvin. And what bothers me is that I really hope he didn’t panic», Confided Gérard Lanvin on the verge of tears, adding: “Even if it’s ten seconds because that’s the image I wouldn’t want to have of Michel.”

The actor then emphasized that thanks to Walk in the shade and to his success, the one who played Jean-Claude Dusse in The Bronzed was able to turn to “the cinema he loved”namely “cinema a little more written, auteur”. “Michel had a magnificent journey. He wanted to surprise. And this time, he didn’t miss his shot”he concluded, referring to his sudden death.
