Paris – The speech delivered on Friday by His Majesty King Mohammed VI at the opening of the new session of Parliament “consolidates the dynamic momentum of Franco-Moroccan relations”, underlined Guillaume Jobin, French writer and media man.
Mr. Jobin, also president of the Paris School of Journalism, indicated, in a statement to MAP, that France’s decision supporting Morocco’s sovereignty over its Sahara “only further reinforces the significant development centuries-old relations between the two countries.
Welcoming the “pragmatism” of Royal diplomacy, Mr. Jobin noted that the Kingdom is asserting itself today in a “proactive” manner on the international diplomatic scene.
Mr. Jobin, author of several works on Morocco, welcomed the fact that Morocco is resuming the initiative on the Moroccan Sahara issue, by imposing a new dynamic of change on the international level.
“Thanks to proactive diplomacy carried out by HM King Mohammed VI, Morocco has taken matters into its own hands,” he added.
