The death of Michel Blanc will leave a big void. As a reminder, the actor died at the age of 72, after suffering anaphylactic shock, following a serious allergic reaction. This Thursday, October 10, many personalities and anonymous people gathered around the Saint-Eustache church, in the 1st arrondissement of , on the occasion of the funeral of the interpreter of Jean-Claude Dusse. Present on site, our colleagues from BFMTV were able to collect certain comments from those close to him, in particular that of the actress Mathilda May.

Hidden under a hood and behind an imposing pair of glasses, Gérard Darmon’s ex was full of praise for the late actor: “He was affectionate, faithful, brilliant, sensitive, super funny, musical, obviously talented and very close to his friends.” The one which was directed by Michel Blanc in Severe Fatigue in 1994 wanted to thank him for the role he had played at the start of his career: “He is part of my story… Without him, I don’t know if I would have coped so well with being a young girl thrown like that, overnight, into the world of cinema“, she confided, with tears in her eyes, about the one she considered “a friend“.

If Michel Blanc had no children, the arrival of his partner Ramatoulaye Diop at his funeral was eagerly awaited. Despite this brutal and painful loss, the spouse of the late director had specified that she wanted a ceremony “joyful“ and therefore arrived with a smile at the funeral.
