The sporting branch of Red Bull has formalized the signing of Jurgen Klopp, who will occupy the role of director of global Football for the Austrian firm.

« Jürgen Klopp will take up the new role of Director of Global Football at Red Bull, effective January 1, 2025. In his new role, the charismatic German coach will oversee Red Bull’s international network of football clubs. He will not be involved in the day-to-day operations of the clubs, but will provide strategic insight in helping individual sporting directors advance the Red Bull philosophy. Additionally, the 57-year-old will support the organization’s global recruiting operations and contribute to coaching training and development“, we can read in a press release.

A new challenge for the charismatic German coach who is eager to prove himself: “After almost 25 years of coaching, I’m excited to get involved in a project like this.
