A 37-year-old VTC driver died Friday October 4, 2024, killed by a gunshot to the head in Marseille (Bouches-du-Rhône), around 4:30 a.m. Nessim Ramdane was allegedly shot dead by a 14-year-old hitman that he carried and that he refused to listen to. The violent death of this “uneventful” thirty-year-old caused a lot of emotion on social networks. It also deeply affected the world of regional football, of which the victim was an essential figure.
“An example for its partners”
Passionate about football since a young age, this father of four children has visited the region’s clubs, indicates BFM Marseille . In association with these tributes, many clubs in the region chose to observe a minute of silence on the pitches on Sunday. The sports director of Six-Fours Le Brusc FC announced several upcoming actions to help the family of Nessim Ramdane, such as a stand named in his honor or an annual tournament bearing his name.
Concerning the legal aspect, an investigation is underway and the 14-year-old suspect was arrested on Friday.
