In this film, by Patrice Leconte, Michel Blanc opposite Sandrine Bonnaire and Luc Thuillier. The deceased actor plays this hero, who has lived for years in the same apartment, neither poor nor rich. He waits. Alice, who is staying in a studio across the street, suddenly realizes that he has been observing her for months. He knows everything about her and falls in love with her, while Alice is in love with Émile and ready to do anything to protect him.
Michel Blanc was nominated for the 1990 César in the best actor category. The film was rewarded with a César for “Best Sound”.
