Brest’s Mahdi Camara celebrates scoring his second goal against FC Salzburg
Stade Brestois obtained a second consecutive victory in the Champions League on Tuesday by crushing away RB Salzburg (4-0) during the second day of the first phase of the prestigious European competition.
Already winners at Sturm Graz (2-1) two weeks earlier for the first match in their history in the European Cup, the Bretons once again dominated an Austrian team during what constituted their first European trip.

Author of the winning goal against Sturm Graz, Abdallah Sima scored a double on Tuesday evening (24th, 70th) while Mahdi Camara (66th) and Mathias Pereira Lage (75th) participated in the offensive festival. On the other side of the field, Brest goalkeeper Marco Bizot made 7 saves.
The team coached by Eric Roy was coming off a defeat in Ligue 1 against Auxerre (3-0) on Friday. In three weeks they will host Bayer Leverkusen, reigning German champion, for the third day of this C1.
