Strasbourg is spectacular
Over the first five days, in each match in which the RCSA took part, both teams scored. It is the only Ligue 1 club in this case and also the only team which has both scored and conceded more than ten goals. There is therefore likely to be a spectacle this evening against OM, the second attack in the championship. Liam Rosenior’s men have indeed had a series of sensational matches, including a 3-3 in Lille and a 4-3 defeat in Lyon.
OM no longer loses against Racing
Since April 9, 2005 (1-0 goal from… Mamadou Niang, a few months before his transfer to OM), the Marseillais have not lost in the league against Strasbourg, home and away combined, i.e. 17 matches (9 draws, 8 successes). But the Olympians remain in four frustrating draws, including three after suffering an equalizer in the final minutes.
800 supporters in parking
They were banned from traveling to Décines last Sunday, and that did not prevent many Olympian supporters from screaming their joy at Jonathan Rowe’s winning goal. This time, OM fans will take their place in the parking lot dedicated to visitors at La Meinau. There will be around 800 people cheering for their club.
