What's cool about Marvel comics (but also the films) is that several characters can wear the same costume. For example, there was a time when Bucky Barnes became the new Captain America in place of Steve Rogers. Here are 12 famous heroes who took on the costume of another for a time.
12) Hawkeye en Goliath
Clint Barton is a cult character from Marvel comics. Member of Avengers, he is best known for being the face of Hawkeye, the famous archer. But he also wore other costumes, notably that of Ronin, an identity he took on to let his enemies know that he would be much less kind to them. In the MCU, he becomes Ronin after the disappearance of his family following the Thanos Snap. But in the comics, Clint Barton also, for a time, wore the costume of Goliath. Indeed, Clint was tired of being the weak link of the Avengers. In an adventure somewhere in the 1980s, Clint decides to use the Pym particles to rescue the Black Widow. Indeed, at this time, Hank Pym is no longer part of the Avengers. Barton then decides to borrow the Pym particles, without seeking the agreement of the other Avengers, to go it alone and save his friend. Hawkeye subsequently inherited the Goliath costume for three short years.

And yes, one of the worst enemies of Peter Parker endorsed the Spider-Man costume for a while. In the cult arc The Superior Spider-ManOtto Octavius falls seriously ill. Close to death, he finds a way to swap his body with that of Peter Parker. He then transfers his consciousness into Spider-Man's body. But surprisingly, Octavius also recovered Peter Parker's sense of honor and justice by investing in their bodies. From 2013 to 2014Octopus then becomes the new Spider-Man opting for the name Superior Spider-Man. However, unlike Peter, Otto uses much more violent methodsnot hesitating to kill his enemies. In Superior Spider-Man #30-31Otto cannot get rid of the Green Goblin. He then decides to sacrifice himself, giving control of his new body back to Peter Parker.
4) Elektra a Daredevil
Elektra et Daredevil have always been very close. So it's not really a surprise that Elektra Natchios take over from Matt Murdock when he is sent to prison after having murdered one of his enemies. 3) Bucky Barnes en Captain America
Following the events of Civil War, Steve Rogers is apprehended by Tony Stark. As Cap heads to his trial, he is murdered in cold blood in front of the courthouse. A terrifying murder that leaves the Marvel galaxy in shock. Bucky Barnesdestroyed by the death of his friend and mentorthen decides to take up the torch. He endorses the Captain America costumesretrieve the famous shield from the hands of Tony Stark, and becomes the new Cap. A decision that does not please SHIELD, Tony Stark, nor the government.
