Having become an international (6 caps, 2 goals), he was crowned world champion with the Albiceleste in 2022 in Qatar, and participated in the 2024 Paris Games with the Argentina Olympic team. Transferred at 22 for 14.5 million euros to Atlanta United (80 matches, 26 goals, 24 assists), team with which he was voted best rookie in MLS in 2023 before joining Botafogo last summer for a transfer of 19.5 million euros. With the Brazilian club, this season he achieved an unprecedented Brazilian championship/Copa Libertadores double.
