Interviewed by the British sports betting site, Betway, before the start of the Australian Open, Andy Roddick bet on continuity regarding the winner of this 2025 edition.

According to him, the current world number 1, Jannik Sinner, is one step ahead of his two main rivals, Carlos Alcaraz and Novak Djokovic.

“Jannik Sinner is the favorite among the men, and he is the one who I think will win. I think he is the best hard court player in the world. He regained this title from Novak Djokovic after more than ten years of reign. I think Sinner is the one to beat in Australia, and I certainly wouldn't bet against him. Carlos Alcaraz is his closest rival, but everyone knows he needs to find more consistency, and he doesn't say anything different. »
