The general meeting of the Marsan Tennis Club took place in the presence of Pierre Airoldi, 1st deputy, Delphine Vignau, president of the departmental tennis committee, and members of the club. In her moral report, the president, Gaëlle Desclaux, underlined “the good health of the club” with a stable number of 68 licensees, including 28 young people divided into 3 groups at the sports school and supervised by Thomas Rondreux, the teacher assisted by Anne-Marie Meller, Mathis Castex, Raymond Anton and Bastien Tournier.
For 9 years, the club has also been involved in tennis at school as part of educational cycles which help to arouse the desire to practice this sport in children, often with their parents.
In terms of sporting results, in the winter cup, the men of team I went undefeated and won the title against Gimont. The ladies, undefeated in the groups, withdrew from the semi-final due to injuries. In the spring cup, Lilou Trébosc and Emma Tournier in the 12-14 year old girls and Mahé Glaria, Mathis Airoldi and Noah Tournier in the 11-12 year old boys got started. The ladies, in the Caisse d'Epargne trophy region course, finished in 2nd place. Among the men, the I team, undefeated in the group, lost in the final at L'Isle-Jourdain.
Then, Anne-Marie Meller, the treasurer, gave encouraging figures for the future. Patrick Dumolié, in his master's report, was delighted with the 129 players involved for 160 registrations in the various tables, the 2 new courts having allowed a more comfortable organization.
