ATP > Rick Macci: “The American player who will make the most noise, barring injury, who could win a Grand Slam and settle permanently in the top 10 for many years, is Sebastian Korda”

Rick Macci, former coach and trainer of the Williams sisters, explained on “X” how much he believed in Sebastian Korda, now 22e world at 24.

“The American who will make the most noise, barring injury, who could win a Grand Slam and settle permanently in the top 10 for many years, is Sebastian Korda. He has a bit of a different skill set, with unique elements that sometimes make others uncomfortable. »

The son of Petr Korda (former world number 2) won this year the second and most beautiful title of his career by winning the ATP 500 in Washington. Coached by Radek Stepanek and advised by Andre Agassi, Sebastian also reached the semi‐finals of the 2024 Canada Masters 1000 while his best Grand Slam result remains a quarter‐final at the 2023 Australian Open.
