The journalist has since apologized.
On his X account, John Wertheim admitted his fault. Invoking “ a camera angle that distorted the forehead » by Barbora Kerjcikova, in an image broadcast by the channel, he then said: deeply regrettable comments » which he pronounced as a “ joke ».
The journalist also pleads technical error. “ Although this was a private rehearsal, this exchange was inadvertently broadcast live without context » he tried to justify.
