Diablo IV environments hide Altars of Lilith, statues honoring the game’s antagonist. There are about a hundred of them, and Blizzard Entertainment has shared a tip on how to find them quickly.
The environments of Diablo IV are filled with things to do. For example, you can go hunting for the Altars of Lilith, statues bearing the effigy of the famous demoness (the villain of the game). There are about a hundred of them, and you can spot them from afar thanks to the red glow they emit. However, Blizzard Entertainment has managed to hide them well, to make it difficult to find them. Fortunately, Mike Ybarra is there to help us.

What are the Lilith statues for in Diablo IV?
In Diablo IV, the Altars of Lilith are not there just to look pretty, nor to remind the cult that surrounds the demoness. When you activate a statue, you receive a significant bonus: a permanent boost for statistics, obols, even Paragon points. As a bonus, you receive a few renown points for progressing in each region (10 points per statue).
The statistical gain (strength, will, dexterity, intelligence) is interesting in the sense that it is kept and shared by all the characters of the same account. Normally, it won’t be lost at the start of each season, unlike other progression items.
There are 160 Altars of Lilith to find in Diablo IV : 28 in Broken Peaks, 33 in Arid Steppes, 34 in Hawezar, 31 in Kehjistan and 34 in Scosglen. In most regions, activating all the statues will allow you to pass rank 2 of progression, which will give you other rewards (skill point, additional portion charge).
On Reddit, players have simply developed an ideal course to quickly chain the Altars. As this screenshot proves:
Finally, it will certainly be wiser to recover the horse, at the beginning of Act IV, before embarking on the race to the Altars of Lilith. The mount allows you to go faster and, above all, to easily avoid enemies who are squatting around.
