Less waste per capita
In 2024, 50 kg of waste per inhabitant was produced by the inhabitants of Monts-sur-Orne. This is less than in 2023, a year in which 60 kg per inhabitant and more than two times lower than in 2022 with 120 kg. “We can be proud of the result,” rejoices Gilles Mallet, mayor of Monts-sur-Orne.
Gilles Mallet returned to the achievements of 2024. The Argentan drinking water union replaced the main supply pipe from the town of Goulet to the level crossing for a total amount of €80,000, entirely financed by the union.
The handing over of the coating was covered by the Orne Departmental Council to the tune of €40,000.

At Sentilly
In the delegated municipality of Sentilly, road work was carried out at a place called “Pommereux” for €22,183. The creation of draining trenches at a place called Vauloger is estimated at €22,000.

A study to revitalize town centers was carried out. In the conclusions, the project of a third place in collaboration with the house of associations was mentioned in order to rehabilitate the village hall into a friendly space open to the entire population.
“Everything remains to be built. It is still possible to share your ideas for the construction of this project.” The decision is expected by 2025.

At the church level, quotes were requested from the company Girard Électriqué, because it is planned to carry out the repair of the electrical installations. This work is estimated at €21,000 and will be carried out if the subsidy requested from state services is granted.
