After the Mexican Revolution, everything was in disorder. They were all vying for the presidential seat, and when the dust finally settled, each conspired to eliminate the other. A journalist, recently promoted to the newspaper El Unilateral, discovers the thread of a conspiracy that will lead him to investigate who intends to give a bad image to the president of the time, Álvaro Obregón. Here, you have to start from several points. For starters, if you know the story, “Mexico, 1921: A Deep Slumber” won’t have too shocking twists and turns. Moving on, the plot is explained quite simply, so it won’t be too complex or very convoluted. In addition, the characters who compose it take a little time to overexplain certain complicated facts. However, the appeal of the game outweighs what matters. Yes, although it has interesting gameplay, it is fans of history (and especially Mexican history) who will be able to fully appreciate it. This is also beneficial so that more people can learn about this stop in Mexico. In “Mexico, 1921: A Deep Slumber” we are presented with some very interesting game mechanics.
