DJI has just launched a new drone, the DJI Flip. In summary, the Flip is a drone weighing less than 250g whose design allows it to fold up to reach the size of an RC-2 controller. Recent leaks and rumors suggest that 2025 could be a busy year for DJI, including the replacement of the recently released Osmo Action 5 Pro ($349 currently on Amazon).
With this in mind, a famous drone leaker has taken to teasing what DJI has in store for a future launch event. Igor Bogdanov chose not to explicitly reference the device as he has done in the past. Instead, he left a cryptic message on X showing only some of the unreleased material.
Bogdanov gave a hint about the device’s availability by adding “DJI won’t let you get bored.” It appears that the device pictured has some sort of screen, leading people to speculate that it could be the Osmo Action 6 device. Other recent rumors suggest that the Osmo Nano could be on the horizon, as are the Osmo Mini 5, Neo 2 and Mavic 4 Pro drones. Although Bogdanov does not wish to release any new information at this time, we believe he will do so in the coming days.
