The Xiaomi 15 Ultra appeared as 2 versions of the same “Satellite Digital Mobile Phone” in a previous leak, however, according to reliable tipster Digital Chat Station (DCS), there is ultimately a difference between the two.
It appears that one of them (the 25010PN30C) will also be able to support satellite messaging via the Beidou network, while the other (25019PNF3C) will not. The new report from DCS is based on a new registration made by Xiaomi with China’s Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) regarding the two devices.
If proven correct, it could also confirm DCS’s prediction that the 15 Ultra will debut in February 2025 in order to beat its most direct rivals, the OPPO Find X8 Ultra and Vivo X200 Ultra to the market Chinese.
-As a result, the 15 Ultra could be presented as a premium flagship capable of making satellite calls via the Tiantong mobile phone network and with an additional premium SKU that can also send GSM-independent messages.
It’s currently believed that the impending 15 series flagship phone will look like its predecessor, the 14 Ultra, but will feature even more elaborate Leica-branded hardware, a (literally) more robust display, a and an upgrade to Qualcomm’s Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite for the latest high-end Android smartphones – like the RedMagic 10 Pro which you can order from Amazon.
