First of all, we note, to make the link with recent news on this subject, that Intel charges quite a lot for the boxed version of its Core Ultra 9 285, which contains the Luminar RH2 cooler and is therefore priced at $30. more than the processor sold naked, while for all other references there is only $10 difference between the “box” and “tray” versions, whether or not the box contains the entry-level cooler Luminar RM2 which ultimately does not incur any additional costs.

Other information that quickly catches the eye: those of you who could be tempted by the very low consumption “T” models will have no other choice than to find them in a bare version (tray) at retail, because there is no boxed version is not planned by Intel. Intel seems to have made the same choice regarding the Core Ultra 5 245 65 W, which will also only be in the “tray” version.

The table is not yet completely complete, as you can see from the two question marks that wander along the line of the Core Ultra 5 225T. Intel does not currently mention the prices of its latest product on its product sheet. We will update our table as soon as this data becomes available.
