MSI unveils its RTX 50 ranges, with well-known names and others created for the occasion

MSIpartner of NVIDIA since … at least, if not more, will have RTX 5090, RTX 5080, RTX 5070 Ti and RTX 5070. They will be distributed in 6 rangesmost of whose names will not be unknown to you. We’re going to give them to you, because we’re nice, they go from the very high end, to the entry level, and between these two extremes there are more or less qualitative series, at certainly appropriate prices.

At the top, we find the series LIQUID SUPREME. It is nothing more and nothing less than a SUPRIM under fleet, the cards will be entitled to a 360 mm AIO, with fans that MSI calls StormForce. The water block that will be placed on the GPU and the VRAM is made of copper, only that of the RTX 5090 will be entitled to so-called waterway technology, without explaining what that corresponds to. For the rest, the cabin on the card will be in brushed aluminum.

In the range SUPRIMwhich goes back to aircooling, we will find the brushed aluminum specific to this series. MSI will take the 7-blade StormForce fans, stick a vapor chamber on the base in contact with the active elements of the card (GPU, VRAM, VRM), use optimized heat pipes (size 8? 10 mm?), while the The radiator will benefit from high and low fins to optimize heat release.

Here is a new series, called VANGUARDand which is at the top of the catalog, just under DELETE. You will therefore not be surprised to learn that the 7-blade StormForce will be there, that the radiator should have more or less the same design as the SUPRIM, and that the steam chamber is still a fiesta. The style, on the other hand, changes to become more “gaming” and less sober/classy.

Next comes class GAMING TRIOequipped with 3 StormForce, the vapor chamber has disappeared to make way for a large nickel-plated copper base, with a look that is still very reminiscent of that of the RTX 40 cards. Obviously, there will be LEDs, on the headband triple diagonally. The cabin should also be made of plastic, but not brushed aluminum in any case.

Below we find the series The wind with a recognizable look but rather well redesigned. There will be 2x and 3X versions, depending on the GPUs that will be on board. MSI is switching to Torx 5.0 mills, and adapting the templates so that the RTX 5080, 5070 Ti and 5070 Ventus have the SFF-Ready label.

Here is a new range, the last which will make up the MSI catalog, the INSPIRE 3X. Its style is called Mondrian Grid, the StromForce are back, the large nickel-plated copper plate takes care of the GPU, VRAM and VRM, all under the SFF-Ready label also for the same cards. The look resembles the Radeon Sapphire RDNA 3, the finish looks good, we will try to evaluate it, regardless of the GPU that will be inside.
