Lenovo took advantage of CES to formalize not one new console, but four! Indeed, in addition to the three models of the Lenovo Legion Go S, including one running SteamOS, the Lenovo Legion Go 2 has finally been made official.

For its next generation of portable console, Lenovo has opted for a machine equipped with the Ryzen Z2 Extreme chip and featuring an 8.8-inch OLED screen, with a 144Hz refresh rate and VRR support.
The characteristics of the Lenovo Legion Go 2
- Processor: AMD Ryzen Z2 Extreme with RDNA 3.5
- Display: 8.8-inch, PureSight OLED, 16:10 resolution, 144Hz refresh rate, 500 nits, with variable refresh rate (VRR) support
- Memory: Up to 32 GB LPDDR5X 7500 MHz RAM
- Storage: Up to 2TB SSD
- Battery: 74 Wh for long autonomy
- Controllers: Rounded Lenovo Legion TrueStrike controllers with circular D-pad for greater precision
Please note that the model revealed is currently a prototype and that it may still be subject to change. As it stands, it could be the best portable console to take advantage of PC Game Pass.
-Lenovo has confirmed that this new console will be available sometime in 2025, without further details. It remains to be seen whether, subsequently, the manufacturer will offer a model based on SteamOS.
