Belkin, a leader in consumer electronics for 40 years, today announced the launch of new products in the Recharge, Audio and Future Ventures lines. These new products highlight the incredible quality of the brand’s products, as well as its commitments to sustainable development. Belkin will present its new products at CES 2025 which will take place in Las Vegas.
More environmentally friendly products that contain up to 90% recycled materials
Two years ago, Belkin set a goal to use between 72 and 75 percent post-consumer recycled (PCR) materials in its products. Since then, more than 359 items have incorporated these materials into their composition, thus avoiding the use of 432 metric tons of so-called virgin plastics.
This year, as part of Belkin’s environmental commitments, some of the brand’s flagship chargers and cables will have their cases optimized so that they are now made from 85% to 90% PCR materials. The new accessories will be GRS (Global Recycling Standard) certified and their packaging will be plastic-free. This initiative should reduce their CO emissions2 at least 84.8%.
The products below will be the first to contain between 85% and 90% PCR materials starting in the second quarter of 2025 and will be followed by other launches throughout the year:
