According to famous tipster Evan Blass, Lenovo is preparing to release the world's first laptop with a foldable screen.
Here's what we know
According to him, the new ThinkBook Plus, featuring an innovative sliding screen, will be unveiled at CES in January 2025. The device can be used as a regular laptop with a 3:2 screen, but the screen can be unfolded if necessary, thus increasing its surface area. This will create a surprise effect when first used and will be an important factor in the appeal of this new product.
The technical characteristics of the screen are still unknown, as is its durability. Despite this, the device promises to be interesting and probably expensive.
In recent years, various manufacturers have demonstrated foldable displays, but until now no commercial products have been made with this technology. Lenovo will be the first company to bring such a device to the market, which could be a significant step forward in the development of display technology.
