Eight years after its release, No Man's Sky finally gets its head above water and can now boast of being one of the best sandbox games available.

Head in the stars

This is certainly the most incredible comeback in video game history. Eight years after its chaotic release No Man’s Sky is finally dubbed by players while the title has a majority of “very positive” reviews on Steam. The news was shared by Sean Murray, the creator of the Hello Games studio, on social networks. The studio founder simply shared a screenshot of the game's Steam page, saying: “Damn, it really happened! Thank you, thank you thank you. You have no idea what this means to us“.

Return to grace

Sean Murray's joy is largely understandable given the difficult journey of No Man's Sky. After a crazy presentation that brought players to their knees, the game was finally released in a version very different from the initial promises. But Hello Games did not give up and decided to correct the situation with numerous free updates deployed over the years. What initially presented itself as a space sandbox game has today become an extremely complete title, offering a multitude of content, between space dogfights, battles against aliens, hunting for extra-terrestrial species, fishing and underwater exploration, collection of rare resources… in short, No Man's Sky is today an experience capable of attracting a maximum of players, an eclectic title with a wealth almost as vast as the cosmos.
