Android Authority has shared several new images of the Galaxy S25 Ultra, revealing the phone’s full design for the second time. The big news is in the corners of the smartphone, now more rounded than on previous models. This major aesthetic change aligns with the interface elements of the upcoming One UI 7 update, and should significantly improve the handling of the device.

The images reveal the bottom of the phone, showing the usual S Pen slot, a speaker, a USB-C port and the SIM card tray. The borders appear particularly fine and uniform, whilea new charge indicator appears on the screen when the device is plugged in.

One UI 7, the operating system that will equip the S25 Ultra, also brings its share of new features. The leaked screenshots notably show a redesigned notifications panel, divided into two distinct parts: notifications on one side, quick settings on the other.

The performance promises to be top-notch, as evidenced by the S25 Plus benchmarks which have also been leaked. Geekbench scores (3,160 in single-core and 9,941 in multi-core), align with what was expected of Qualcomm’s new Snapdragon 8 Elite.

The smartphone should also integrate satellite connectivity, as revealed by its recently obtained FCC certification. This feature, combined with the Snapdragon 8 Elite processor, positions the S25 Ultra as one of the best flagships in the premium smartphone market.

The official presentation of the Galaxy S25 Ultra is expected in early 2025, probably during an Unpacked event in January. Until then, Samsung maintains the mystery about certain characteristics, in particular the capabilities of its photo system, which would retain a configuration quite similar to previous models.
