The Quebec version of Sea of ​​Stars has finally arrived

Many of you asked us “When will the Quebec version be released?!” of Sea of Starsa game designed by Quebec studio Sabotage launched in August 2023. We finally have good news: it’s happening today!

Sabotage Studio announces that the Quebec version of the game, winning many industry majors, is now available. This is an addition that accompanies Dawn of Equinoxan important free update for Sea of Starsdisponible sur Steam, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X/S et Xbox One.

And it’s not for nothing that fans here have been waiting for this translation for so long. Sabotage had already offered a faithful and charming Quebec adaptation of its first game, The Messenger of 2018, which was very well received by the players.

To celebrate this great addition, the studio has unveiled a brand new trailer where we can observe the new dialogues, which will offer expressions, accents, as well as cultural and popular references “from home.”

Major update

As mentioned earlier, the addition of the Quebec translation accompanies a major free content update for the game Sea of Stars titled Dawn of Equinox.

This update is intended as a gift from Sabotage to thank the more than 5 million players for their unwavering support for Sea of Stars since its release in summer 2023. Dawn of Equinox notably includes a local co-op mode which allows players to discover the world of Sea of Stars with family and friends. A multitude of other changes and improvements ensure that this version represents the ultimate vision of the spectacular adventure imagined by the team from lower town Quebec.

Dawn of Equinox arrives before Throes of the Watchmakera free DLC that will be released in spring 2025. It will introduce a brand new quest, a new playable character and more. Throes of the Watchmaker finds solstice warriors Valere and Zale venturing into the miniature mechanical world of Clockwork. In this magical place where the inhabitants are threatened by a cursed carnival, our heroes will have to adapt to foreign rules to allow their powers of the moon and the sun to manifest. The entirety of Throes of the Watchmaker will also be playable in Quebec and with local co-op mode when it is released.
