The new feature that Spotify just launched consists of integrations with TikTok and Instagram. A name that doesn’t tell us much, but which could make a difference in the daily use of social networks. Focusing on the innovation launched by Spotify for TikTok, we see that it is a function that will allow us to share songs, albums, playlists, podcasts or audiobooks from Spotify directly on the social network. It will then be possible to share these types of Spotify content in Stories or TikTok posts, or even via direct messages. To use the feature, simply select the share button from the content context menu on Spotify, then select TikTok as your sharing option. At this point we will have the option to finalize the sharing by private message or via post or Story.
Likewise, the new Spotify integration for Instagram users will allow us to save the songs that we find on the social network directly in our Spotify account. When we see a song in content on Instagram, we can select it and then add it to our synchronized library on Spotify. To access this function, we will need to connect our Spotify account to Instagram, and in this way the addition of songs will be quick and automatic. Songs added from Instagram to Spotify will be found in the Liked Songs section on Spotify. The innovation we have just described should already be available with the Android and iOS applications of Spotify and Instagram.
